After 37 years of practice at ACMA, Dr. Maslanka retired from active practice in August 2016.
Dr. Maslanka has been practicing pediatrics in the Abilene since 1979. His undergraduate education was completed at Northwestern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois. Dr. Maslanka completed his residency training at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. He and his wife, Pamela, have three sons. Their sons are all Eagle Scouts and share Dr. Maslanka’s passion for the Boys Scouts of America. His hobbies include jogging, gardening, camping and science fiction novels.
